Event Executive

Location: London
Salary: £18-21K
Type: Fixed Term Contract

An exciting new hospitality venture based in London seeks an Event Executive to assist in the production of all events. This is an excellent event-entry position and the role involves initially maintaining websites, project folders and managing online diaries however as the project develops you will be and assisting in the day to day management and organisation of all types of events from Breakfast briefings, to canapé receptions to full 4 course Gala dinners.

The successful candidate should have strong administration skills as well as a good eye for detail and excellent time management skills. Good knowledge of excel is essential and strong written and verbal skills are a must. You will be working as part of a small team, reporting directly into the Project Manager. Salary will be based on experience.

Sales Executive

We are looking for someone with an interest and enthusiasm for Egyptology and Tutankhamun who also has the skills to be able to be able to 'sell' this wonderful opportunity for corporate groups to host functions with private viewings of the Exhibition.

Whilst proven sales experience would be ideal, we are also interested in candidates who have a background in the world of archaeology or connections with Eygpt. The main prerequisite is a genuine enthusiasm for the subject, combined with the ability and confidence to able to present to senior executives and event organisers.

As part of a small team, you will need to be able to be a self starter and have the drive to achieve targets and meet deadlines. A sense of humour is always a bonus as well!

The role is initially based on a short term contract, with an immediate start, through until July 2008, however there is a real opportunity to continue with our parent company Cavendish Consultancy Limited on future projects.

Salary will be based on experience with a combination of basic salary and further commission driven earning opportunities.
